Ews Nsj
Ews Nsj thumbnail
Ews Nsj rarely does a lyricist lock my soul to the words, but this...this is fascinating deeply inspired magic. the vocalist has a fragile voice that slices right into the heart of the soul so that the loveliest memories n' longings well up inside one's chest. her command of the language of poetry seems Natural. i find the music a mesmerizing piece of art as well, along w all the wonderful waking dreams one finds on this band's YT channel. open your heart to this music. JFDR,...never stop Favorite track: Instant Patience.
Rich Hims

Rich Hims Overlaying big beats with pure ethereal vocals has long been a staple of my musical tastes, but JFDR put the same kind of overlays on top of an understated jazz track to equally haunting effect. Favorite track: Airborne.

White Sun 04:28
Vague ripples reach my ear, circles in air water both still and flowing from one water to another a ripple meets a ripple, chaotic glimpses of something she said were memories, that became songs, that became ripples. A circle in a circle in a circle. I paint them in words in head but luck you get vague ripples talking tongues on thick wood. Cannot catch light from magic bulb. Let shine must let shine on you crystal sound. She is see-through rock. She is wander star heavy light.

The love letters from the Virgo artwork how into the blue in one moment in love in distance far away long time ago. He knitted the pictures into the words in my mouth, fairly puzzled by sudden crosses and like paper boat on brutal waves I sowed him in. Now down memory lane.

Wires 02:58
The old houses with the porch we sat in middle land, not moving, everything half almost not to sea flat square. The wave and the moments between being in love again in fresh wind stuck to ghost that is heavy air. I opened a window where the stream currents on million wavelength of hearts talking long before the lips move, that said the sage, purple wisdom.

Journey 04:44

about

Brazil sees a blend of cyclical guitar parts, soft minimal soundscapes, and poetic wanderings of a journey that ends where it began. Drawing from classical, folk, and electronic backgrounds, JFDR amalgamates the sounds of changing seasons, her voice a current that moves through rough seas to smooth waters. But perhaps JFDR shines the most in her capacity as a wordsmith, employing rich imagery to evoke the subtle emotions embedded in each song.
